Lavish, stunning, and chic, the Woodbury Jewish Center is a conservative synagogue in the heart of Nassau County. With 90 chandeliers hung from stainless steel trusses, a three-tier wall of fire, and a massive 65-foot long bar, the Woodbury Jewish Center will have all your guests talking for months after your event. The Woodbury Jewish Center can host up to 750 guests in its grand dining hall, with more intimate layout options available. With its neutral palette and transitional rooms, the dining hall can be dressed from ultra-modern to rustic chic, and everything in-between.

Woodbury Jewish Center

Woodbury Jewish Center is a conservative synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue of America. Built in 1989, Woodbury Jewish Center was the first new conservative synagogue in Nassau County in a generation. Today it is home to a vibrant and growing congregation of over 400 families. Always one event at a time, Woodbury Jewish Center introduces modern kosher cuisine in a glamorous, uber-chic setting. The 10,000 square foot space with 16-foot ceilings, allows event planners to design the room to suit any theme for any event. Woodbury Jewish Center has the ability to seat 750 guests for a sit-down dinner or 1,400 for a buffet. The 65-foot long white porcelain bar – which happens to be the largest on Long Island and one which will never leave your guests thirsty – was designed by Alvarez and Brock. The partners, Rafael Alvarez and Brannen L. Brock, met while senior designers at the renowned Tihany Design. Adam D. Tihany is widely regarded as one of the world’s preeminent hospitality designers.

The Gallery

The Gallery displays Judaica from Jewish museums, which are displayed in light-up windows down the hallway. The Gallery was designed by one the of the world’s preeminent hospitality designers, Adam D. Tihany. The Gallery is an absolutely beautiful place for pictures and first looks.

The Sanctuary

With sky-high high ceilings, neutral carpet, and an amazing Chuppah corner made of towering glass walls to allow natural sunlight to stream in, your wedding ceremony is sure to be stunning. Your Chuppah can be as elaborate or as simple as you like with intertwined, lit branches and boxy, fabric-draped pergolas as among popular choices. There is also the option to have a floating Chuppah. This makes the Woodbury Jewish Center Sanctuary the only temple on Long Island one which has the capability to decorate from ceiling to floor. The Sanctuary accommodates up to 750 guests.

Cocktail Room

Within the ballroom is the spectacular Cocktail Room, featuring a dazzling 65-foot long white porcelain bar – which happens to be the largest on Long Island and one which will never leave your guests thirsty – designed by Alvarez and Brock, and a stunning three-tiered fire wall. As your guests nosh on our lavish food stations and mingle among the modern and luxe décor, the main event is waiting on just the other side of the retractable wall. For larger events, the wall can remain open into the ballroom. The choice is yours!

Ballroom

This large venue has gleaming, polished wood floors, ambient mood lighting, and an elegant nature-themed chandelier. The maximum reception capacity is for 750 guests. The progressive and hip design of the room, complemented by its neutral palette, makes it possible to transform this space from ultra-modern to rustic chic.
